Sessions and Rates
Sessions
- Individual sessions are typically held weekly for 45 minutes.
- Family sessions 45-60 minutes.
- Initial intake sessions are held for 60-90 minutes.
- Psychological testing and developmental screenings vary in length
depending on the tests used and the client's needs.
Rates and Insurances Accepted
- Rates vary depending on the length of the session and type of service.
- Dr. Cabral is a provider under a number of plans under the AETNA network and under the United Health Care MSHS Top Tier network (for Mt Sinai Hospital employees only). If your policy requires pre-authorization to receive services, this is your responsibility and needs to be handled prior to your first visit.
- No other in-network insurance plans accepted.
- If you have out-of network benefits, Dr. Cabral can create a receipt which you may submit to you health insurance carrier for reimbursement when applicable.
- Fees for psychological and developmental evaluations vary depending on type of evaluation and measures used.
Payment
- Payment is expected in full on each session unless other arrangements have
been made with Dr. Cabral.
Cancellation Policy
- If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy or testing session, and you
have not notified Dr. Cabral at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required
to pay the full cost of session or a previous arranged fee with Dr. Cabral.
